How It Works
At the heart of the system is the ARCgate™—a physical reference point that challenges shooters to elevate their shot with ideal trajectory.
Set at a strategic distance (Rise Range) from the shooter, it simulates the path the ball must follow to consistently clear defenders and land with a soft touch.

The Calculator
perfectARC™ uses a physics-based model that factors in your height, jump height, and distance to the basket.
It calculates the optimal launch angle and required arc for consistent, high-percentage shooting — and translates this into a physical target using the ARCgate™ and shootersGAP™ setup.
shootersGAP™
The shootersGAP™ is the precise distance between the shooter’s position and the ARCgate™.
When using perfectARC™, the system calculates the ideal arc path for your shot based on your height, jump height, and shot distance. The ARCgate™ acts as a visual and physical guide to ensure you are shooting with the proper arc.
But to make this work effectively, the ARCgate™ must be placed at the correct distance in front of the shooter — not too close, not too far. That distance is the shootersGAP™.
🏀 If the shootersGAP™ is too small → the arc will be too flat or hit the gate.
🏀 If the shootersGAP™ is too large → the player may shoot too high or miss the target arc window.
By calculating and setting the correct shootersGAP™, the player’s shot will naturally clear the ARCgate™ at the perfect angle — building consistent, scientifically correct shooting form.

ARCgate™
The ARCgate™ is the core training device in the perfectARC™ system — a fully adjustable physical gate that helps players build and reinforce a perfect shooting arc.
It is an adjustable obstacle that visually and physically represents the optimal arc path for your shot, based on your individual profile (height, jump height, shot distance).
The ARCgate™:
🏀 Adjusts in height (from approximately 72” to 119”) to match your calculated shooting arc
🏀 Provides a visual target window through which the ball should travel
🏀 Includes an integrated laser tripwire system — when your shot passes through the ideal arc zone, you get an audible beep confirming the correct arc
